I'm an intern at the Stokes Nature Center this semester so I thought I'd try to kill two birds with one stone and try and create something I could use at Stokes.

My design thoughts —

Contrast: There's a few different elements of contrast in this info-graphic. I tried to use simple straight lines as the rectangles to contrast with the round, curvy-ness of the tree. I also used green and purple, two contrasting colors. I also used contrasting fonts.

Repetition: I used the same box seven times to show that the boxes included supporting details to the main claim (the title). This helped give context. It shows that the information below the title is supportive. The same fonts were also used.

Alignment: I used a left alignment throughout the piece to create consistency.

Proximity: The gap between the title and the supporting details shows that there is evidence to support the claim.
